'ForbesForbes released its 2026 "30 Under 30 Asia" list on Wednesday (May 27), which includes a member of the popular South Korean girl group i-dle. Ye ShuhuaAnd HYBE's new generation boy group CORTIS Member Zhao Yufan and others were successfully selected, becoming the focus of this year's list.
This year's list selected approximately 300 innovative and influential young elites from nearly 4000 nominations across 18 countries and regions in the Asia-Pacific region. Despite fierce competition in the entertainment and music sectors, K-POP continues to demonstrate its global dominance.
Among them, Shu Hua made it onto the "Entertainment & Sports" list with i-dle, continuing to accumulate high popularity in Asia and international visibility; while CORTIS was selected as a new generation of creator boy group, and Zhao Yufan became a highly watched Taiwanese face with his music and stage creation ability.
In the "Social Media, Marketing & Advertising" category, Korean video creator "Han Gou Enoki Mushroom," who has long been based in Taiwan, was also on the list. She revealed that during the selection process, she was asked if she should be included in the "Taiwan list," to which she responded emotionally, "Of course, it would be my honor."
Forbes is one of the most representative financial and business magazines in the United States, and its various rankings published annually enjoy high authority and credibility in the international community. This year's list has an average age of about 26, with women making up about 1/4 of the list. Those selected are often seen as having the potential to change the future landscape of industries.
