Members of South Korea's popular boy band SEVENTEEN have reached the age of enlistment. Following member Jeonghan's enlistment in September last year, SEVENTEEN's agency PLEDIS Entertainment released a statement on Wednesday (March 9), confirming that Wonwoo will begin fulfilling his military service obligations on April 3, and disclosed all his plans before enlistment.

According to the statement, Wonwoo will attend the "SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND" fan meeting held in Korea on March 3 and 20 as scheduled, but he will confirm his attendance at the "Tecate Pa'l Norte 21" music festival and the Japan fan meeting after the start of his military service.

The statement also pointed out that no official activities will be held on the day of Wonwoo's enlistment, and also called on fans not to go to Wonwoo's workplace where he will be serving alternative military service in the future to avoid causing trouble to the relevant personnel.

PLEDIS Entertainment's full statement:

Hello everyone, this is PLEDIS Entertainment.

SEVENTEEN member Wonwoo will begin his military service on April 4. As a result, he will not be able to participate in his post-military service schedule, such as the Tecate Pa'l Norte 3 music festival in April and the Japanese fan meeting. At the same time, as stated in the previous announcement, Wonwoo will still participate in the "SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND" performance on March 4th and 2025st as scheduled, and will continue to meet with all CARATs through various works prepared in advance.

There will be no official activities arranged on the day of enlistment, and everyone is asked to avoid going to the workplace where Yuanyou will be serving his alternative military service. Everyone can leave a message on Weverse to express their thoughts and blessings to Yuanyou.

We hope that all CARATs will continue to give their love and support, accompany Wonwoo as he faithfully fulfills his military service obligations, and look forward to his return in a healthier state. During this period, we will also fully support Yuanyou, and thank everyone for their understanding and companionship.

Xie.
