South Korea's tvN new drama "Miss Undercover Boss" is expected to be broadcast in the first half of 2026, starring Park Shin Hye, Go Kyung Pyo, Ha Yoon Kyung and Jo Han Jae. Korean media surprisingly broke the news on Tuesday (July 7) that Yuna, a member of the girl group ITZY, will also join the cast. Her role is "Hong Rose", the younger sister of the heroine "Hong Jinbao" (played by Park Shin Hye). This is Yuna's first acting challenge since her debut, which has attracted great expectations from fans.
"Miss Undercover Boss" is set in South Korea in the late 1990s, which was caught in the Asian financial crisis. Park Shin-hye plays the financial regulator "Hong Jinbao" who disguises herself as a 20-year-old new employee to infiltrate a securities company to investigate suspicious fund flows and embark on an undercover mission. The plot combines retro workplace style, undercover suspense and romantic comedy, and brings out many jokes and conflicts through the protagonist's dual identity, while depicting the struggle of women in turbulent times.
