Malaysian singer Huang Mingzhi Recently embroiled in the murder case of Taiwanese internet celebrity "Nursing Goddess" Hsieh Yu-hsin, he surrendered himself to the Kuala Lumpur Dang Wangi Police Headquarters last Wednesday (November 5th). His six-day remand period expired today (November 10th). The police have applied for a second remand, which has been confirmed to be extended for another three days.
According to a report by the Malaysian newspaper China Press, Namewee's lawyer, Cheng Ching-Feng, emphasized to the media outside the Kinmen Police Station on Monday that Namewee maintains he has not committed any crime and is innocent, reiterating that Namewee is unrelated to the sudden death of Hsieh Yu-Hsin. Regarding whether Namewee is the sole suspect, the lawyer stated that he could not answer and believed the police should explain the matter.
Cheng Ching-feng also mentioned, "I met with my client, Namewee, and he is in good physical and mental condition." He added that Namewee is a positive person, and although his current situation in detention is not ideal, he has not filed any complaints.
