The Golden Disc Awards, South Korea's annual entertainment extravaganza, will be held on January 10th at the Taipei Dome in Taiwan. The nominees and the complete list of attendees from South Korea have been announced. On Wednesday (December 10th), the organizers made a surprise announcement that Taiwanese actor Greg Hsu and pop diva Jolin Tsai will also be presenting awards at the Taipei Dome.
The organizer, Super Dome, announced that Greg Hsu and Jolin Tsai will serve as presenters for the Golden Disc Awards as representatives of the host country. Previously, it was officially announced that popular South Korean actors Ahn Hyo-seop, Byun Woo-seok, and Song Joong-ki would also be presenting awards at the Golden Disc Awards.
This year's Golden Disc Awards boasts a stellar lineup, with 18 artists performing in Taiwan. Boy groups include ZEROBASEONE, Stray Kids, TWS, CORTIS, and MONSTA X; girl groups include IVE, LE SSERAFIM, KiiiKiii, and izna. The biggest draw is undoubtedly BLACKPINK's Jennie.
Actress Moon Ga-young and singer Sung Si-kyung had previously been confirmed as the hosts for the Golden Disc Awards.
