US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Zelenskiy(Volodymyr Zelenskiy) After a heated dispute last Friday (February 2), Bloomberg and other media reported that Trump has suspended all military aid to Ukraine.

According to the report, a senior Defense Department official who requested anonymity revealed that the US government will suspend all current military aid to Ukraine until Trump determines that Ukrainian leaders have made a sincere commitment to peace. The official also stressed that "this is not a permanent termination of aid, but a suspension."

The U.S. official noted that all U.S. military equipment not currently in Ukraine would be stopped, including weapons being transported on aircraft and ships, or waiting in transit areas in Poland. Trump ordered Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to implement the suspension, the person said. It was not immediately clear how much aid was affected by Trump's suspension.
