German media also recently reported that the German government plans to continue to increase military assistance to Ukraine in 2024, increasing the original budget of 40 billion euros to 80 billion euros. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius confirmed the plan at a meeting of defense ministers of EU member states held in Brussels on the 14th.
