The 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards ceremony will be held this Friday (May 8th) at COEX in Seoul. The results of the "NAVER Popularity Award," voted on by fans worldwide, have already been announced. Park Ji-hoon won the Best Actor award, while Yoona won the Best Actress award by a large margin!
Voting for this year's Popularity Awards opened on April 24th, with 79 nominees from television, film, theater, and musical theater competing. The competition in the male actor category was fierce, with Park Ji-hoon ultimately winning with 48.7% of the vote, defeating Lee Jun-ho who received 40.3%. In the female actor category, Yoona secured the top spot with a commanding 58.1% of the vote, significantly ahead of Son Ye-jin who came in second with 26.9%.
