After Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh sent hawkish signals at Wednesday’s (16th) press conference, the forex market’s focus quickly shifted to the Bank of England’s decision to hold rates steady, as investors brace for an upcoming Bank of Japan monetary policy adjustment.
At the New York close, the dollar index (DXY), which tracks the greenback against six major currencies, fell 0.03% to 100.23.
